Hello again! Well wishes to everyone! I'm here "squeezing" in a birthday guy card today.
This one's for my nephew who cannot get his mail where he lives reliably so I send to his work and that needs to be flat mail only, so that means no sequins or enamel dots, etc.
I chose this Splitcoaststampers sketch, resized to A7, and the elements on it looked like citrus slices, so that gave me the idea for the whole card!
SU card base and some very old Scrapworks designer papers, plus some old-skool stamping with Altenew citrus stamps/dies and heat-embossed MFT and Altenew sentiments using Ranger Enamelware powder and cut with Lawn Fawn banner flag dies. The V was cut from the green dotted paper using an MFT stitched edge die.
Inside, more of the papers and a Uniko stamped sentiment. On back more papers and a Technique Tuesday stamped and circle-punched siggie for a nice coordinated look.
A final view of this card. I really am squeezing it in, only a few more days left until Christmas and miles to go before I....relax! 😜 I'm sure you know the drill! Thanks for visiting today and until next time, stay well and keep on crafting! XOX
MY CHALLENGE PLAYLIST:
Brilliant take on the sketch using the orange and lime slices and of course matching our ‘food’ theme. Thanks for playing along with The Male Room. X
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing card-the bold colors and patterned papers really make it stand out! I also love that the citrus is stamped so realistically.
