Cheers and Hip Hip Hooray Birthday

Thanksgiving Greetings to You! Hope everyone is doing good and whether you live in the US or not, eat something delish today! It's just Honey and me, and as neither of us are that big on turkey or dressing, we are having oven-roasted pork ribs, corn casserole, a black bean/green bean mash-up called Hoppin' Juan and garlic cheese biscuits.
So, you might want to put on your shades because today's card is PINK! 😊 I was in a mood to play boldly with colors, patterns and textures. I even used a patterned card base. All papers are from Prima's Melody collection except the digital printed image and sentiments are on Springhill Digital card.

Design: Splitcoaststampers Sketch SC265
Papers: A4 Prima Melody collection, Springhill Digital
Stamps: Creative Vision, Autumn Leaves, Deep Red Stamps
Embossing Folder: Spellbinders A7 Hearts & Hearts
Dies: Spellbinders Classic Circle, Avery Elle Balloons, Lawn Fawn Cheers
Inks: Promarkers, gel pens, Versfine, Versamagic
Misc: Tapestry Ribbon, Baker's Twine, Embossing powder, distress tool
I colored the round sentiment, focal image and the balloons with Promarkers. I used red and pink metallic gel pens to accent. I used ribbon and baker's twine as well.
A close-up of the front panel before being decorated. I ran it through my Big Shot with the embossing folder, then I took a Cloud White VersaMagic chalk ink dewdrop pad and rubbed it along the embossing, then I covered it with clear embossing powder and melted it with my heat tool. So, the panel was double embossed, also edge-distressed.
Inside, mats of one of the A4 Prima papers turned sideways and cut in two. I've stamped Autumn Leaves and Deep Red Stamps sentiments with Onyx Versafine ink.
The back of the card, with the same edge-distressed paper as the front, showing the visual continuity.
And a final view. Thanks for visiting me today and until next time, stay well and keep on crafting! XXO
MY CHALLENGE PLAYLIST:

Edge-distressed papers, ribbon and twine, dry and heat embossing
Cheers and Hip Hip Hooray for my friend's birthday (Happy)
