Happy Thursday to you. Hope everyone's okay. We're fine. I've been eating low-carb again to try to lessen my pain levels and although this last week's been perfectly awful pain-wise, it actually does help. Even losing a little weight, but as I've gotten older, it's almost more important that it helps me feel better! 😁
Well, can you believe it? It's July 1st! Half of 2021 - gone in a flash! And it's time for my LTCCB July Anything Goes design team make. Another sweet girlfriend is turning 65 so I made her a birthday card. I've used one of Hetty Clare's sweet digital images named "Marnie." She is printed on Springhill Digital card and colored with Promarkers. Except for the image, sentiment and a paper doily, I've used Basic Grey's Lucky 12x12 collection for the entire card, including the card base.
I've used SplitCoastStampers Sketch SC484, resizing it in PSE to 5.25" x 7.50" to fit one of my orphaned envelopes I'm trying to use. I had to cut apart the paper doily to make it appear fit, but I did because I very much wanted a doily there! I fussy cut the image to have her standing a bit out of frame. Love her expression!
The back has more BG Lucky papers with a stamped Gelatins siggie.
Close-ups to show the shimmer and shine on the balloons, her hair flower and on the sentiment...
And a final view. It was lovely to have you visit me today and I thank you. So many of us need better times, so here's hoping we are all blessed with a wonderful July! As always, Stay Well and Craft On!!! xoxoLove To Craft challenges are monthly, going live at 4:00 AM Mountain Time on the first day of every month and run until 4:00 PM Mountain Time on the last day of the month. ReplyDeleteAww, very sweet! I thought it was a "My Besties" girl when I first saw your card 😊
ReplyDeleteAnywho, I'm glad you're able to change your diet to help lessen the pain. Although carbs is prolly one of the hardest to eliminate, I feel your pain on that note. Hope you feel much better soon! 🙏🥰
Love this! Great colors and sweet image! ;)
ReplyDeleteLove this card! The image is one I'd pick out too. Your girlfriend is a lucky one. Glad to hear you're better. Boy Aimes !! Did I not fall off my chair when you asked if it's Albert's and the ice cream shop you named. Got a good laugh. 👍
ReplyDeleteBeautiful coloring on Marnie and love how you cut the doily. You got the dimensions perfect so that it does not look doctored at all.
ReplyDeleteGreat card!!

Hi Aimeslee! :) I love your new profile photo btw! :) What a sweet card for your friend, the expression on your little lady's face is very cute. I hope your diet helps you feel better. I'm like you, feeling better is much more important than losing weight as I age! :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks so much like a My Besties. image. Love the card, especially the sentiments inside. They're so meaningful. I starred low carb again, about two weeks ago. I have been in so much pain. I haven't really noticed too much of a difference so far. Now on to see what else I've missed.
ReplyDeleteShe's gorgeous Aimeslee, I love the composition too! A great card.
ReplyDeletePraying you have a painfree week.
