Greetings! Today I'm sharing a two-fer of sorts. It's my June Love to Craft #59 monthly challenge design team make and Outlawz Color Tuesday challenge guest designer make. I'll be at Outlawz the entire month, sharing makes June 1 (today), June 15th and June 29th.
Love To Craft challenges are monthly, going live at 4:00 AM Mountain Time on the first day of every month and run until 4:00 PM Mountain Time on the last day of the month. We always play Anything Goes and would love to have you join us! For more details, check the sidebar HERE.
I chose red. The twist is to add spots. I chose the sponsor's Dog with Bone digital image to work with and I kept it as is, printed on Springhill Digital card and no coloring, as I thought that looked best with the color scheme. And it does hold its own -- that dog's expression is just too cute! I made this for my cousin's husband who loves getting my cards and he's a big dog lover too.
MY CHALLENGE PLAYLIST:

7. Classic Design Challenge June #6: AAG
8. QKR Stampede Challenge #421: AG -- #1/3 I have used a QKR digi
9. Penny's Paper Crafty #497: AAG with Paper -- #1/3
Super cute! Sorry I've gotten so behind on my commenting. And congrats on your guest gig - I saw your card when I uploaded mine to the post last week! Love it!
ReplyDeleteThis doggy card is so adorable. Picking red was an excellent choice. It's going to make the recipient very happy. Great for feminine and masculine.
ReplyDeleteI had a laugh out loud at your card Aimeslee, Love the dog, the sentiments, out and inside and the papers are Super. Yep! no bones about it! hahahaha

Great job, Aimeslee! The combination of Black, white, and red is among my favorites, and you have made excellent use of it in this project! Very nicely composed and beautifully executed.

I love everything about this! The dog is adorable, the minimalist colour scheme is awesome as the red really pops, and that sentiment is oh, so true as we get older. Great card, my friend!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute card, Aimeslee! We're so happy to have you join us as our Guest Designer this month at The Outlawz Colour Challenge! It's going to be great having you around, especially with such fabulous cards!
ReplyDeleteI have the same Pebbles paper pad and always wondered how to use the scraps after making my projects. Seeing how you've added to the back of your card, as well as the piece on the front, has given me inspiration to get the scraps out and play! Thank you!

Fantastic use of that sketch, Aimeslee, and that's one of my favorite QRK images! But today, I'm here with an additional DT hat on my head - I want to thank you for playing along in our "Anything Goes with a Critter" challenge this month at 2 Crafty Critter Crazies and at QKR Stampede this fortnight. Hope to see you playing again soon. Good luck in the draws.
