Hello, happy weekend to you!
I'm sharing my guest design project for November's My Besties Spanish Challenge #101 .
I was finally able to color the digi image completely with Promarkers, like the old days before my eye infection. It was very slow going, but I'm going to get back on the coloring horse and hopefully the practice will speed things up enough.
Supplies Used:
Orange and burgundy card stocks
Carta Bella 6x6 Fall Break designer papers
Karen Foster 12x12 pumpkin paper (inside)
Avery Elle Stamps (inside sentiment)
My Besties digi Lil Rascals Harvest Sweethearts Doll 1 , colored with Promarkers
Green Star Dust gel pen
Spellbinders Fall Leaves A2 Card Creator dies (leaves and Thankful sentiment)
Spellbinders Classic Circle die
Chalk ink for edge distressing
I used this Splitcoaststampers 6x6 sketch, but rotated it counter-clockwise to give my Bestie a fall leaf pile to sit on.

Very cute card! I am trying to get back into coloring more with my Copics.
ReplyDeleteI was having a rough time for a while. Now my problem is that I need to refill at least 20 of my most used colors. I am dreading that. Thank you so much for the card and check. You really didn't need to do that, but I appreciate your thoughtfulness.

That is a great Thanksgiving card. It is too easy to forget that holiday. It is one that has to do with a lot of cooking-smile. The last couple of years we spent our turkey day at my SIL house, and her husband is a professional cook, so that meant a lot less work for me, but no leftovers. And in my foggy brained writing, I guess I wasn't clear in my birthday post. I made 2 batches of cake batter but didn't bake any cakes; I baked the batter as cupcakes instead. Just cupcakes. And I sent home more than half of them with my daughter. Oh I love your dishwasher story. We had one growing up too, and except for a couple of years when we first bought this house, we've had one too. I even gave up a bank of kitchen drawers for one. And although I need the storage space, I will keep my dishwasher too. Hope you're having a nice week. hugs-Erika
