Hiho, hope everyone is safe and well. I'm up on Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge #531 blog today as Guest Designer!
I was given this adorable Beautiful Fall Bestie Doll 25 to work with and here is my card.
My Besties and Fred She Said are sponsoring the current challenge.
I used Splitcoaststampers Sketch SC467 for my design layout, resizing it in PSE to make an A9 card.
SUPPLIES USED:
SU card stock base
Junkitz and Frances Meyer designer papers
Leaf ribbon and trim from my stash
Prima paper leaves, coated with Wink of Stella
Big Chatterbox brad
Leaf sequins
My Bestie digi image printed on Springhill Digital card
Promarkers and Sakura Stardust gel pens to color image
Distress inks for stippling
Artistic Outpost stamped sentiment
Versafine Clair ink
Inside:
Gold parchment paper
Spellbinders Mega Curved Rectangle die
Lawn Fawn and Stamplorations stamped sentiments
Inside I matted both sides with the Frances Meyer paper. I then cut a mat for the stamped sentiments using the Spellbinders die and stippling around it all with Distress inks.
On back, more Junkitz paper and some leftover scraps from the front with a stamped, inked and circle-punched siggie.
A close-up to show my coloring and ink stippling.
And a clos-up to show the glitter and shine.
And one last look at my card. I quite enjoyed creating a loose, Boho-inspired look with my leaf ribbon and yellow-orange trim, leaf sequins and glittered paper flowers. (Boho style is a free-spirited aesthetic that mixes artistic expressions into an eclectic style with an emphasis on organic elements and nature.)
