Dr. Digi Selfie Santa Christmas

Happy Sunday, fellow bloggers! Today I'm sharing another Christmas card featuring a Dr. Digi's House of Stamps image called Selfie Santa and attempting a monochrome ruby red color scheme for the August Rainbow Card Challenge, with some shimmer and shine..

I've used the current sketch at TMS, resizing to 5x7 in PSE.

A really simple card, especially for me! The challenging part was the color scheme, but I'm very happy with the results. I had to make the snowman's nose carrot-y, but I used a reddish orange.

Here's a close-up to try to show all of the shimmer and shine. I colored the ground snow and the snowman with clear Wink of Stella. I used various Sakura metallic and glitter gelpens on buttons, berries, the iphone, and to make sky snow along with a white gel pen.
